At least 8 passengers including three women were killed and above 24 injured in a road accident on Wednesday afternoon in Jaunpur district on Allahabad-Jaunpur highway.
Police said that the accident happened when a Azamgarh-bound UP Road Transport Corporation bus fell into deep ravine near Sai river under Sikrara police station. Bus was coming from Allahabad. Those injured have been admitted in local hospitals.
