North Tripura Police has achieved major success in the fight against drugs by seizing 50 kg of Yaba tablets valued at approximately 40 crore rupees. The seizure was made during a major operation conducted by the police under Panisagar Police Station.
The recovery is being described as a significant blow to the illicit drug network operating in the region.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha shared the information in a social media post, appreciating the commitment of the police and security forces in protecting the youth and society from the menace of drugs. He said the success further strengthens the mission of building a Nasha Mukt Tripura.
