The thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds occurred at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Haryana today.
Isolated places in Rajasthan witnessed dust storm. Some places over Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Rayalseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry also witnessed thunderstorms.
Heavy rainfall was recorded at some places in Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura. Many parts of Kerala is receiving heavy rainfall since this evening. More from our correspondent:
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today visited dust storm affected districts of Agra and Kanpur and directed the officials to provide proper medical facilities and treatment to the injured. He visited the hospitals and met the injured.
Met department has forecast thunderstorm accompanied with squall at isolated places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow.
