Taiwan has deployed CAP aircraft, naval vessels, and coastal missile systems in response to the Chinese activities near its territory. According to the Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence, it has detected nine Chinese military aircraft and six naval vessels operating around Taiwan and four of nine aircraft entered Taiwan’s Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ). It further said efforts are made to fulfill regional security and protect the homeland.
Earlier, Taiwan had conducted an air defence test to enhance overall effectiveness of defence operations yesterday with anti-aircraft artillery systems and US-made Patriot missiles.
