Sri Lanka and Defending Champion India have also entered in the semi final of 5th South Asian Football Federation, SAFF Women’s Championship.

In a Group B match at Biratnagar in Nepal today, Sri Lanka defeated Maldives by 2-0. After two consecutive defeats in the group matches the Maldives also exited from the six-nation tournament with Bhutan.

Bangladesh and host Nepal have already qualified for last four from Group A. Both will play against each other in their last group match tomorrow.

In Group B India will take on Sri Lanka on Sunday. India has unbeaten record in SAFF championship and it has won the trophy four times.
