A special court of Bhopal today found SIMI terrorist Abu Faizal guilty of killing a police constable. He had killed constable of Anti Terrorist Squad-ATS Sitaram Yadav in 2009 in Khandwa.
The court will pronounce sentence tomorrow.
The sections under which he has found guilty provide maximum sentence of life imprisonment or death sentence.
There are also other case against him including blasts, murder and dacoity. Abu Faizal had escaped with his other colleagues from Khandwa jail in 2013.
The court found his colleague Mehtab guilty under Arms Act.
Abu Faizal was presented in the court through video conferencing during hearing today.
