Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri today said that significant progress has been made under the PM-UDAY scheme during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

In a series of tweets, he said, the process has continued unhindered despite the challenges posed by lockdown. The Minister said, a total of two lakh 83 thousand 258 registrations have been completed which will benefit nearly 15 lakh residents of Delhi.

He said, conveyance deeds were handed over to 997 people. He added, 97 thousand 124 GIS mappings have been done and 18 thousand 663 applications were received.

Prime Minister- Unauthorised Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana was launched last year with an aim to provide ownership rights to benefit more than 40 lakh residents of 1731 unauthorized colonies of Delhi.vvvv
