Uttar Pradesh government has decided that from now on, the shops in the State will be open from 9 a.m. in morning to 9 p.m. in evening. In a review meeting with officers Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth said that only Sunday should be the weekly closing day for markets.
After the Chief Minister’s order it is clear that weekly restrictions regularly imposed for 2 days, i.e. on Saturday and Sunday will only be implacable on Sunday from now.
Yogi Aditynath also directed officials to implement a special work plan effectively after micro analysis of the Corona condition in Lucknow and Kanpur districts which are having the highest number of patients in the state. A team of expert doctors will also be formed in Lucknow to give advice to the general public on health related issues on digital platforms.
Meanwhile, the State yesterday conducted the highest number of 1,49,874 COVID tests in a day till date. A total of more than 57 lakh tests have been conducted in the State till date. In the last 24 hours 5,571 new COVID positive cases have been found in the State and total active patients are now 55,538.
