The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) today said that the schools and colleges in city limits will remain shut till the 15th of January 2021.
According to a press statement, the MCGM said that although the Covid situation in the city is under control but in the wake of second wave of the infectious disease in other countries as well as the condition in other states it has been decided to shut the schools and colleges in the Mumbai city limits till 15th of January 2021.
MCGM had earlier decided to shut the schools and colleges in the Mumbai city limits till 31st December 2020.
However, as per the latest order, schools of all medium and managements will continue to remain shut from 1st to 15th January 2021. 16th and 17th January being Saturday and Sunday, the American Consulate Schools and other Consulate Schools will reopen from 18th of January 2021 by adhering to the Covid 19 protocols.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Government today said that tourists visiting Mumbai will get an opportunity to watch live shooting and also to interact will the artists from film and TV serials. An MoU in this regard was signed between the Maharashtra Tourism Directorate and Starcraft Manoranjan Private Limited. The state government said that it endeavors to facilitate a Complete Film Tourism Experience to the visitors
