Senior Congress MLA Sadanand Singh today took oath as the Protem Speaker of Bihar Assembly. Governor Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath to Mr. Singh, at a simple function at Raj Bhavan Sunday morning.
The winter session of the Assembly is beginning from tomorrow to facilitate the newly-elected MLAs to take oath on November 30 and December 01..
The Speaker will be elected on December 2 and the Governor is to address the joint session of the two Houses of the state legislature the following day.
The session will be up to December 08.
