Environment minister Prakash Javadekar today said the government is investing more than 60,000 crore rupees to improve the quality of fuel and it will be ready with fuel for Euro six norms by 2019.
Speaking at an event in New Delhi, Mr Javadekar however said there are latest technologies which could help in solving the problem of pollution. He said but the real answer lies with improving the quality of fuel in cars.
Terming the government’s decision leapfrog to Bharat stage six emission norms for vehicles by 2020 as a real game changer, Mr Javadekar said fuel will be Eruo six compliant in next 1,200 days and that is the permanent solution.
