The results of matriculation (Class 10th) examination of Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) were declared today. State Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto declared the results in Ranchi.
Manish Kumar Katiyar of Netarhat Residential School topped the exam, securing 98 percent marks. Katiyar’s father works as a farmer and is based in Sahibganj district of the state. 20 students of Netarhat Residential School have secured a place in the toppers’ list by getting over 90 percent marks.
Talking to media, JAC Chairman Arvind Singh said that the students have excelled this year in the board results. Boys have fared well in the state board exams, while 75 percent of students have passed the examination. Students of Koderma, Ranchi and Palamu districts have secured the highest passing percentage in the matric exams.
