India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha, for tomorrow. Similar conditions are also expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand for the next two days.
The Met Department said that heavy rainfall is expected over Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi for tomorrow.
