A village in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan witnessed a different type of voting  on Tuesday. This polling was held in Kachbali village of Bhim panchyat samiti today to get a mandate on total prohibition on liquor.

The pattern of polling was same as it is there in any other election. Polling began at eight in the morning in which more than seventy percent voters exercised there franchise. This polling was held at instance of state government.

The result has been declared which has gone in favour of prohibition. This result will be communicated to district collector who will decide the fate of liquor shop in the village. This unique poll not only symbolizes women empowerment but it will also go a long way in checking the menace of liquor consumption.
