The Congress has alleged that the Rajasthan government allocated 653 mines without auction. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala demanded that all allocations of 653 mining licences should be cancelled.
The spokesperson alleged that the state government flouted all norms and gave mines on first come first serve basis, even though auction policy was existing.
