Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the BJP led government in Centre is indulging in divisive politics. Addressing the party workers at Gohpur in Sonitpur district today, Mr. Gandhi also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to fulfil promises that he had made before Loksabha polls. The Congress Vice-President has arrived in Assam today in a two day visit.
Later, he will address rallies at Bihpuria and Titabor today. Tomorrow the Congress Vice- President will take part in a padyatra at Sivsagar and address a public rally. The visit of Rahul Gandhi in Upper Assam areas is expected to boost up party’s morale ahead of upcoming assembly polls in Assam.
