Also wants removal of cap on withdrawal, waiving off farmer loans

Intensifying attack on Narendra Modi Government on the issue of note ban, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi today demanded a ‘White Paper’ on demonitisation. He also demnded removal of caps on the withdrawal limit for the common man and waiver of loans for the farmers.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Gandhi demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tell the nation how much black money has been unearthed since the announcement of demonetisation, what was the economic loss to the nation on the account of demonetisation, how many jobs and livelihoods have been lost since this policy has been announced and how many lives have been lost due to the policy.
Mr. Gandhi said, a sum of 25 thousand rupees should be deposited in the account of every woman of a BPL family that has suffered post demonetisation. He also demanded doubling of MNREGA wages and Income Tax, Sales Tax rebate for small businessmen and shopkeepers.
Earlier, addressing the Foundation Day function, Mr Gandhi said his party will continue to fight against the ideology of RSS.
