The Meena Community held rally in Jaipur Friday to protest against the government apathy in resolving Meena-Mina issue. MLA Dr. Kirori Lal Meena demanded that state government should send a letter to government of India that Meena and Mina are one and same community.
He also demanded that state government should file an affidavit that Meena and Mina are one community in Rajasthan High Court also. Dr Meena said state government should immediately withdraw two circulars issued on September 30, 2014 and December 23, 2014 so that Meena community is not deprived of caste certificates.
