President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have greeted people on the eve of Idu’l Zuha. In his message, the President said, let us rededicate ourselves to the spirit of trust, sacrifice and service, the essence of this festival, and share happiness with people who are in need.
Mr Kovind hoped that the festival enrich composite culture, strengthen unity and harmony and inspire all country to work towards the well being of mankind.
In his message, Mr Naidu said, Id-ul-Zuha symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice and compassion in peoples lives and it inspires the mankind to enshrine the values of truthfulness and compassion.
In a tweet, Mr Modi hoped that the spirit of harmony, brotherhood and togetherness will be furthered in the society.
