President Droupadi Murmu stressed the need for a tech-savvy and skilled workforce to meet the rapidly changing dynamics of national security. Addressing the fifth Convocation of Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhinagar today, the President emphasized that with the rise of Artificial Intelligence and the expansion of cyber data security, the concept of national safety has undergone a massive shift. She said that internal security is an essential prerequisite for the nation’s progress and development.
During the event, the President conferred honorary doctorate upon National Security Advisor Ajit Doval for his distinguished service to the nation. She highlighted the importance of self-reliance in the security sector to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat. President Murmu also lauded the bravery and decisive success of the CRPF and other security forces in the fight against Naxalism.
During the ceremony, the President presented gold medals to nine students, with a total of 562 graduates being conferred degrees. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar were present on the occasion.
