MODI INDIANPrime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat Sunday where he will launch several projects in Bhavnagar and Vadodara districts.

Mr Modi will inaugurate the first phase of the 615 crore rupees Roll-on Roll-off(Ro Ro) ferry service between Ghogha in Bhavnagar district and Dahej in Bharuch in the Gulf of Cambay.

The service will reduce the distance between the two towns from 310 kilometres by road to 30 kilometres which can be covered in around 1 hour via sea route. Ro Ro ferry service will help saving fuel, foreign exchange and will be environment friendly too.

The Prime Minister will address a gathering in Ghogha and undertake a journey to Dahej from Ghogha on the ferry. Mr Modi had laid the foundation stone for his dream project in January 2012, when he was the chief minister of Gujarat.

In Vadodara, Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for eight projects worth over 1,140 crore rupees. Mr Modi will also address people at Navlakhi compound in Vadodara.
