Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit and continued discussions held during their earlier meeting at the SCO Summit in Bishkek.
Modi thanked Iran for its active participation in BRICS-related meetings, including the BRICS Business Forum. He reiterated India’s call for resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy, while stressing the importance of freedom of navigation and commerce and the safety and wellbeing of seafarers
