Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said his party is committed for Sab ka Saath Sab ka vikas. Laying foundation stone of new BJP headquarters building in New Delhi, Mr Modi said, BJP is determined to work for everyone and nation building is its priority.
He said, BJP faced numerous challenges after independence. Prime Minister said, this new office building is result of hard work of party workers.
The new state-of-the-art headquarters will be constructed at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg near ITO. It will have wi-fi, underground parking, conference halls, media facilities, eateries, studios, a library, reading room and other facilities. The new building is expected to be ready before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to the nation on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Mr Modi said the themes central to Raksha Bandhan are family bonding and empowerment of society. He said everyone should endeavor to do their duties and take each section of society forward. He said that nation building is the foremost priority for his government.
Prime Minister and other party leaders also celebrated Raksha Bandhan with school children on the occasion.
The Prime Minister also congratulated wrestler Sakshi Malik for winning bronze medal in Rio Olympics. He said Sakshi has brought brought laurels to the country on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
BJP President Amit Shah said the party has reached this stage due to the hard work of workers. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu, Nitin Gadkari, senior party leaders L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi among others were present during the event.
