Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the UP Investors Summit in Lucknow this morning. The mega event, organised by the Yogi Adityanath government, is aimed at showcasing investment opportunities and potential across various sectors in Uttar Pradesh. The focus is on key sectors like farming, information technology, civil aviation, tourism, MSMEs and renewable energy.

The summit brings together heads of state and governments, ministers, leaders from the corporate world, senior policymakers, heads of international institutions and academicians from across the globe. More than 7,000 delegates are expected to attend the 2-day summit, with over 100 speakers scheduled to address the gathering.

Representatives from Mauritius, Japan, the Netherlands, Finland, Czech Republic, Thailand and Slovakia are participating in the event. President Ram Nath Kovind will address the valedictory function tomorrow.
