Prime Minister Narendra Modi today assured all assistance to rain-ravaged Tamil Nadu in tackling the fallout of the heavy downpour in the capital and some districts, including Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur. The prime minister also expressed grief over the death of those who had died in the rain over the last few days.
Later, on landing in Chennai, Prime Minister discussed the situation arising due to heavy rains and floods in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
