The Prime Minister has asked the National Cadet Corps, NCC, cadets to continue the movement towards digital transactions. Addressing an NCC rally in New Delhi this afternoon, Mr Narendra Modi said, India and particularly India’s youth are adapting to technology very fast.
Mr Modi said, sense of mission is being developed by the NCC cadets among people through the camps. He said, the NCC experience offers a glimpse of India, strengths and diversities of India. The Prime Minister said, the life of a NCC cadet is beyond the uniform, the parade and the camps.

Mr Modi said, the role of NCC to further cleanliness has been appreciable.

Cadets from all three wings of the armed forces, including the Army, Navy and Air Force presented the Guard of Honour to the Prime Minister followed by a march past by contingents from different states. Mr Modi also interacted with the cadets during the rally.

Popularly known as the ‘Prime Minister’s rally’, the parade marks the culmination of the month long camp which is held every year. The aim of the NCC Republic Day Camp is to provide the cadets an exposure to the rich culture and traditions of the nation. The camp portrays a reflection of Mini India.

The Prime Minister also presented awards to the best cadets in different categories.
