Addressing the first election rally at Banka after the announcement of polls Mr. Modi said power of ballot is more than the impact of bullet as ballot brings development but bullet is responsible for destruction.
Exhorting people of Bihar to vote for development Mr Modi said that the country would not develop without the development of Bihar.
Criticising Nitish Kumar’s attitude, Modi said when he himself was Chief Minister of Gujarat he had sent 5 crore rupees for relief for flood victims of Kosi deluge in Bihar but Nitish Kumar arrogantly returned the amount.
Modi also said the announcement of financial package of 1 lakh 65 thousand crore for Bihar was not any favour but was the right of the people of the state. He regretted that anti development forces are now criticizing the package.
