Journalist-turned filmmaker Vinod Kapri’s Hindi feature film “Pihu” and noted filmmaker Kamal Swaroop’s Hindi documentary “PushkarPuran” will open the Feature and Non-Feature sections of the Indian Panorama at the forthcoming 48th International Film Festival of India in Goa.
This was announced as part of the list of the Indian Panorama films that was released today by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry.
The feature film jury headed by filmmaker SujoyGhose selected 36 films while the non-feature jury headed by acclaimed director Sudhir Mishra selected only 16 short and documentary films though 21 maximum are permitted in the category. Five Mainstream films have also been selected under Indian Panorama Section.
