The peace is prevailing in Punjab and Haryana after the Dera Sacha Sauda chief was sentenced to imprisonment by special CBI court yesterday. No untoward incident is reported so far. The paramilitary and police forces are maintaining the law and order.
In Sirsa city the curfew has been relaxed from 7am to 7pm but the curfew will continue in the areas near Dera. The curfew has been lifted from Patiala also but section 144 will remain in force.
