Pakistani forces today resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Defence sources told media that the Pakistani forces this morning started unprovoked shelling and firing targeting posts and civilian areas in Nowshera sector.
The Indian forces retaliated the Pakistan firing and heavy exchange of gunfire is still continuing. There is no report of any fresh human loss from the Indian side so far. Yesterday also, Pakistani troops had resorted to shelling in adjoining Poonch district. Two Army Jawans were killed while five others were injured in Pakistani shelling in Krishna Ghati and Sabzian sectors of Poonch on Sunday.
