Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused the opposition of trying to divide the nation on caste and religion. He said some political parties were injecting poison into the country for their own selfish interests.
Prime Minister was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party delegates after inaugurating the meeting of national office bearers in Jaipur today through video conferencing.
Mr. Modi said, Some political parties keep looking for small incidents of tension to inject poison for their selfish interests.
The PM urged the office bearers to stick to the country’s developmental issues. Attempts will be made to deviate you from the country’s developmental issues, but you have to stick to them.
The prime minister said the BJP needs to work on the national goals for the next 25 years. He said it was the best time for party workers to achieve the target for the country.
He said, We all need to fight all challenges before the country. The entire world is looking toward India with hope. Our mantra is ‘Sabha Saath, Sabka vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’.
He said that the 21st century is important for the country and the whole world is looking toward India with hope. In such a situation, during the Amrit Mahotsav of independence, the country will have to work on planning for the next 25 years.
The Prime Minister said that as BJP workers, they have no right to sit in peace. There is a BJP government in 18 states, more than 1300 MLAs, and more than 400 MPs. Looking at these successes, one would feel complacent. But, the workers should not rest as the BJP aims to take the country to the heights which were dreamt of by the freedom fighters decades before.
He said that the parties which are promoting family politics have wasted the valuable time of the country. He said that this is a serious threat to the country. The Prime Minister said that the BJP has made the politics of development a part of the mainstream in the country. He said that now other parties also have to discuss development.
Mr. Modi said that the NDA government is completing 8 years. These eight years have been full of determination and accomplishments. He said that the tenure of the government has been dedicated to the welfare of the poor, fulfilling the expectations of every section of the country.
The development of the country has been focused on social justice and empowerment and dignity of the mother, sister, and daughters of the country. Talking about a change in the country’s history, he emphasized that for a long period people were losing hope and faith in the political system, but that changed after 2014. He said country’s thinking has changed, making the Centre more alert and accountable.
While addressing the meeting, BJP President J.P Nadda informed that 3 statements would be issued in the meeting.
National Vice presidents, National General Secretaries, President of all Morchas, and Presidents of all state’s former Chief Ministers were present during the meeting.
Apart from BJP President JP Nadda many other representatives including National Vice Presidents, National General Secretaries, National Secretaries, National Treasurer, Presidents of all Morchas, Presidents of all States, State Organization Secretaries, and many former Chief Ministers were present during the occasion.
This meeting will be followed by a meeting of State Organization Secretaries of all the states tomorrow.
