The Congress continues to insist on the resignations of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Chief Ministers of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan to ensure smooth functioning of both the Houses. Talking to media outside Parliament today, party leader Raj Babbar said, the ruling party is now adopting diversionary tactics but Congress and other opposition parties will continue to press for their demands. On BJP’s demand for the resignations of the Chief Ministers of the Congress-ruled states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Mr Babbar said the ruling party is desperate and leveling false charges against them.
