In a letter to CM, CIM chairman Munaf Zeena has demanded immediate suspension, arrest and trial of the officers who were involved in the “cold-blooded murder”.

“We are sure, by now you would have seen the gruesome pictures of the victims of the “brave” police of Bihar that did not spare even a pregnant woman and an infant. We are sure that you will be aware that these innocent Muslims, four of whom were shot dead and nine were injured, were hunted like animals” the letter said asking what was their crime except that they had dared to stop a wealthy industrialist who, with the connivance of the administration, was permanently blocking the road that these poor labourers had been using for years for their daily business?”

The CIM reminded Nitish that the people of Bihar, especially Muslims, had voted for him with great hopes and expectations and had believed his promises of improving their living conditions and providing justice.

Meanwhile Forbesganj killing has assuming a political hue across the country and abroad with minorities’ bodies taking up the matter and coming down heavily on the state NDA government.  Protests and agitation against the apathy of Nitish Government are going on in different part of the country.
