Expressing deep sorrow over the death of Dr. Rizwan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that he was a great journalist and writer who had done great service to the Urdu literature and journalism.
In its condolence message the All India Urdu Editor Conference said that Urdu journalism has lost great journalist and columnist in his death. “A vacuum has been created in Urdu journalism after the death of Dr Rizwan Ahmad” said Masoom Moradabadi secretary of the conference.
Dr Rizwan Ahmad was born on September 9 1947. He did Ph.d from Patna University. He spent most of his life in journalism and writing books. He wrote more than 10 books. His column in Urdu dailies was very popular among the Urdu readers. He was also associated with several literary and social organizations and got several awards for his contribution in the field of journalism and literature
