Normal life remains affected across Kashmir

Normal life remained affected across Kashmir today. Reports of minor clashes came in few areas in south Kashmir’s Kulgam and Shopian besides Khanyar area of downtown Srinagar in late evening hours.

The curfew in four south Kashmir districts and curfew like restrictions in Srinagar parts remained in force today .

The day passed off peacefully. A police statement this evening said the situation throughout the valley remained peaceful and under control today. No untoward incident was reported from any part of the Valley so far.

All private postpaid mobile phone services were restored after 19 days. Barring BSNL postpaid mobile, landline and broadband internet services, the mobile internet services continued to remain suspended for the past 19 days now.
