Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Nitish Kumar will be the next Chief Minister of Bihar even if the BJP gets more seats in the assembly elections.
Talking to a TV channel, Mr Shah claimed that the NDA will get a two-third majority in the polls. He said that the BJP has made a public announcement about Nitish as Bihar CM face. There is no if or but. Nitish Kumar will be the next chief minister of Bihar, he said.
Talking about the Lok Janshakti Party breaking away from the ruling alliance in Bihar, Mr Shah said the party was offered adequate seats but still walked away from the alliance. Mr Shah also made it clear that any possibility of LJP’s return to NDA can be looked into only after the Bihar election.
