The nine-day long Navratra festival, which marks the worship of Goddess Durga, begins today with religious fervour and gaiety across the Jammu division. A large number of devotees thronged the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi nested at the Trikuta Hills in Katra town on the first day. The Holy Cave Shrine is witnessing a huge inflow of devotees. Tight security arrangements have been put in place.
