The National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the Jharkhand Government on the complaints of targeted attacks on the Muslim cattle traders in the state.
Complaints received by the Commission also say that the administration is not doing justice in the mob lynching incidents in which two cattle traders lost their lives in Latehar district on the 18th of this month.
The Commission has asked the State Government to submit a detailed report within four weeks.
According to the complaint, the personal dispute angle being propagated by the administration behind the incident, is for protecting the so-called cow protector groups, who are allegedly targeting minority communities on the issues in the region.
