The Rafale row setting off a political firestorm within and outside parliament after fresh revelations is the story that dominates headlines today “ Fresh Rafale dogfight erupts over incomplete MoD note’’ writes the Times of India. The paper quotes the BJP as saying “ Crucial details omitted in news report ”, however Indian Express says ‘ Rafale: Defence secy said PMO undermining talks, Govt says Opposition flogging dead horse”.

The Supreme Court saying that BSP Chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has to refund the state exchequer the public money spent on her statues and those of the parties symbol elephant at parks in Lucknow and Noida is the other main story today. The Tribune quoting the Supreme Court says “ Public money can’t be spent on own statues or on party symbol ”.

In another story the Tribune reports “ J & K creates Ladakh division. Separate Divisional Commissioner, IGP, Headquarters at Leh “.
“PM says Didi shielding corrupt, CM fires back ” informs the Asian Age.

“Workers above 40 can’t join new pension scheme” reports the Asian Age. The paper says the scheme also doesn’t allow children of subscribers to be made nominees and has strict exit norms.
“ Lok Sabha starts discussion interim Budget” reports the Statesman.

“Startups to be listed for angel tax exemption” says the Hindu adding “Notification to be issued in few days”.

Consuming walnuts may lower risk of depression. The Asian Age reports that consuming walnuts aslo improve concentration levels, according to a study carried out in American adults.
