Union Minister for Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu today said that government will bring new industrial policy which will help country’s economy to become five trillion dollar economy in next seven years.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Prabhu said there was 30 per cent increase in air traffic up to last month.
He said the government had decided to construct 56 new airports across the country and there was need to purchase new 1000 airplanes in next few years.
He said Civil Aviation Ministry has decided to start cargo service in the country during the night time when the regular traffic was less.
”It will help to export agricultural products which will benefit farmers”, he said.
