Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked the Election Commission to gear up for the provincial and federal elections.
In a meeting held with election commissioners at Kathmandu on Sunday, PM Deuba assured poll officials that Constituency Delimitation Commission and necessary electoral laws would be in place soon.
As per new constitution of Nepal local, provincial and federal elections needs to be completed by January 21, 2018.
