Emboldened by the Supreme Court’s orders restoring status quo ante as it prevailed on December 15, 2015, former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Nabam Tuki on Wednesday “resumed” his duty as chief minister of the state at the Arunachal Bhavan in New Delhi.
“In compliance with the order of the hon’ble Supreme Court Tuki resumed his duties”, said statement from Arunachal Pradesh CM’s office.
While a communication from his side regarding his resumption of duty as chief minister was sent to Tathagata Roy, acting governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Tuki also spoke to the state’s chief secretary and DGP regarding the future course of his government after he reaches Itanagar on Thursday.
