All India Muslim Personal Law Board, which has been taken up the Babri Masjid case has fully endorsed the stand taken by its counsels that it was not right time to hear the Babri Masjid title suit case as certain political parties are trying to use it for furthering its agenda.
Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani, general secretary, Muslim Board, has stated that the matter relating to the Babri Masjid Title dispute was heard by the Supreme Court yesterday and during the course of arguments, a stand was taken by the Counsels representing Muslim Parties, on instruction of their respective Clients, stating that it was not the right time to take up the matter for Final Hearing.
“As the representative body, the Board endorses and confirms the said statement of the Counsels made in Court.” Considering the sensitivity attached to the issue and different media reports, Board is compelled to clarify its stand,” he added.
Maulana Rahmani also condemned that the ruling party and its affiliate members’ statements regarding the Ram Mandir construction date.
“Different statements from different leaders for constructing Ram Temple and indicating the dates and place etc are unfortunate as Board condemns the same as the case is sub-judice in court”.
