They are suspected to be the aide of Chotta Shakeel, the right hand man of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that cabinet sub-committee will be set up soon to prepare a draft bill for the protection of journalists. He said, the government hopes to table the bill in the monsoon session of the State Assembly.

However he refused to comment any further on the investigation. Meanwhile, Mumbai journalists launched a chain hunger strike at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Bhavan at Azad Maidan on Wednesday after the Maharashtra government refused to order a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the incident.
