A criminal case has been registered against Congress MLA Shakuntla Khateek and block Congress president Vinay Goyal for inciting violence during farmers agitation in Karera of Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh.
Police sources said, a case has been lodged against both the leaders and some others for inciting violence, making disruptions in government work and other sections.
A video had gone viral in social media in which Shakuntla Khateek could be seen inciting her supporters to burn police station during a bandh call by the Congress. Both Ms. Khateek and Mr Goyal are on run.
Meanwhile police arrested Gujarat’s Patidaar leader Hardik Patel at Neemuch border today. He was trying to go to violence hit Mandsour district.
