59 more training centres would be set up by August 2015 in different blocks of the State to impart training to rural youth in trades like Hospitality, Retail, BPOs, Sales and Marketing, Security, Electrician and Information Technology.

Additional Chief Secretary in Rural Development department, Mrs Navraj Sandhu said that under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana (DDUGKY) and Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission (HSRLM)at present 2679 poor rural youth are being imparted training at 38 centres.

She said that from November, 2014 to May, 2015, as many as 2637 rural poor youth have been provided training in different trades at various centres. She said that out of the trained rural youth, 2003 youths have been provided jobs in various organizations in Haryana and outside states. She said that Haryana State Rural Livelihoods Mission has also undertaken livelihood activities in agriculture sector in four resource blocks namely Matanhail, Siwan, Bawani Khera and Narnaund. Under this initiative selected farmers are being motivated to adopt organic farming.
