Ministry of Minority Affairs will hold Hunar Haat at India International Trade Fair in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, which will commence from 14th of next month.
Talking to media, Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, the exhibition will be an amazing gathering of artisans from every corner of the country. He said, it will be for the first time that these talented artisans and craftsmen from far-flung areas of the country are being provided an opportunity to showcase their skills at national-international level under one roof.
Mr Naqvi said that one of the special feature of this unique Hunar Haat is that besides providing free of cost stall to craftsmen, the Ministry will also make arrangements for their transport and will help in their daily expenses so that these expert artisans can reach to Delhi easily.
The artisans will also display their skills of making products live before the people at the Trade Fair. The Minister said that he has written to Chief Ministers of all the states requesting them to make aware talented artisans and craft persons about this exhibition.
