Militants on Sunday night attacked an army base in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. TV reports suggest that heavy firing and blasts were heard from near 46 Rashtriya Rifle camp in Janbazpora area of the district.
Quoting sources, it said that two Border Security Force (BSF) men have been injured in initial shootout. A BSF picket is located in the vicinity of the camp. Two terrorist reported to have been killed by soldiers. there are also reports of 2 soldiers being killed in encounter. More details are awaited.
