37 new COVID 19 cases were detected in Meghalaya today taking the active number of cases to 656. Director of Health Services Dr Aman War told media this evening that out of the 37 new cases 23 are from East Khasi Hills district, ten from West Garo Hills district and one each from South Garo Hills, North Garo Hills, Ri-Bhoi and East Jaintia Hils districts.
Seven COVID 19 patients also recovered today taking the total number of recoveries so far to 517. Out of today’s recoveries, three are from East Khasi Hills, two from West Khasi Hills and one each from East Jaintia Hills and Ri-Bhoi district.
So far the State has recorded a total of 1179 confirmed COVID 19 cases out of which 656 are active cases, 517 recovered and six deceased.
