Major Asian stocks traded in positive territory today, riding on the strong rally in Japan’s equity market as Nikkei advanced more than one and half percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index added more than one percent, South Korea’s Kospi rose nearly half per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index gained 0.2 percent. However, China’s Shanghai Composite Index ended with a marginal loss around 0.03 percent. Major European Indices were trading with losses. London’s FTSE as well as France’s CAC 40 shed around 0.8 percent and Germany’s DAX was trading 0.7 percent down, when reports last came in.
